You will be able to view website during the build on a private hosting platform.

Logo Design or Reformat of your own design

CRE8 Website Design will work with you to create the right logo. Three logos will then be designed for you. You will then need to view them and decide which one you would like to have or make any changes to one of them (you will have the ability to request up to three changes). A copy of your chosen logo will be sent to you for use within your business in anyway you choose. Ownership of the logo will take effect only when we have received payment of the full price for the Work.

 

Corporate Image

CRE8 Website Design can customize the website to include any corporate colours you may have or have in mind. This is done right from our very first consultation. Please see “Customer Requirements” for more information.

 

Imagery, Photography and Copy

Imagery, Photography and Copy for your website needs to be supplied by yourself. If you require us to do this for you on your behalf this will be charged as an additional cost once you have agreed the cost and images. If you supply images you must be the sole owner of each image or file and its copyright and all other intellectual property rights and have the right to grant us the licenses hereunder and provide the waivers and consents. You will not rely on and we shall not be liable for any advice we may give during the course of the work.

For photography of property the consent of the owner of any property photographed must be obtained by yourself. The consent of the persons included in the image (and their parents or guardians), (this is typically by way of a "Model Release"). This is not the responsibility of cr8 Website Design but yours.

Any images we source through image library’s for your website will be charged as an extra cost. You will be informed of this charge prior to purchase and the cost added to your final bill.

 

Brands and Trademarks

You are responsible for the consent of the owner of any brands or trademarks depicted and used in the website.

 

Domain Name/s

If you have not got a domain name we wil help you every step of the way to get one. We are not responsible for your domain names, the renewal will be down to you. We will not be responsible for the loss of the domain name.

If you already have your domain name then please let us know where it is registered and the login details so we can link this to your website. Please forward these details to us in an email to enquiry@cre8websitedesign. It is advised that you buy both .co.uk and .com domain names to prevent others buying them and setting up a competition business. You don’t want your clients clicking into someone else’s site.

 

Website Ownership

All CRE8 Website Design websites are always owned built & updated by and operated by CRE8 Website Design. The domain name is bought and owned by us until you decide otherwise to leave us for any reason (one year from date the proposal and contract was signed by yourself). We will release the domain name and it will be your responsibility to then go and purchase it from one of the Domain Sellers i.e. 1and1. We are not responsible for loss of the domain name. Other website design companies tie you in by owning your domain name, you will be glad to know we don’t. Please also see “Termination of Contract”.

If you do decide to leave us and go elsewhere for whatever reason we will simply delete your website from our server. You have no claim to the website.
 

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are methods or techniques aimed at improving the ranking of a website in search engine listings. It is considered to be a vital part of search engine marketing. We will find out from you who your target audience is, what you want to achieve, list your keywords you want to be found under and then add these keywords to your website.

 

Additional Pages

Additional pages can be added to your site at anytime. The cost per page is £45 with supplied copy or £95 if we do your copywriting for you. All you need to do is supply the text either by a word document or via emails to us. If you wish to add PDF’s then these need to be sent in PDF format via email. PDF’s are great for SEO and it is advised that we add some of these to your website. If you require us to do any of this for you it will be charged as an additional cost.

 

Email Address set up

CRE8 Website Design will help you with the set-up of any email address you require i.e. enquiry@”company name”.co.uk or name@”company name”.com etc. 

 

Customer Contact / Enquiry Form

Contact and Enquiry Forms will be personalized to suit your business needs. Your visitors can ask questions, use tick boxes for them to select from rather than them typing, leave comments and where they found your site etc. Additional Contact and Enquiry forms will be charged at £75 each.

 

E-Commerce Shop

CRE8 Website Design can build and set you up with a web shop complete with the ability to take payments, include product information and photographs (photographs will need to be supplied by yourself in RGB jpg format or for a fee we can take the photographs for you via our sister company CRE8 Photography). We will set the e-commerce shop to be integrated with a secure PSP (Payment Service Provider) or we can link directly to your Paypal account. Please ask for more details.

 

Payment for Website Build

A 50% cleared deposit up front will be requested before we start build (you agree that this is not refundable once we have started on the work) and final cleared balance and completed standing order for hosting and maintenance before website goes live.

Website Maintenance and Hosting

This is a great service which allows you more time to focus on your actual business while CRE8 Website Design keep your website up to date and performing to it’s best potential. In addition to the website and e-commerce shop build costs there is a compulsory on going fee monthly fee for a website (paid via Standing Order) for the life of the website.

This cost covers the following:

• Hosting of Website

• General site maintenance

• Updates, adding text, PDF’s or images on your site, provided by yourself

• Advising on new content

• Adding useful links

• Search Engine Optimization

• Help setting up new email addresses

• Update and add items to your e-commerce shop if we have built a shop for you (every website will be different we will confirm with individuals)

Payments will start immediately once CRE8 Website Design have placed the Standing Order with your bank.

 

Updates will be done as follows:

For website without e-commerce shop - updates will be done on a monthly basis. It is your responsibility to send updates via email to alex@cre8websitedesign.co.uk no later than 25th of each month for the coming month (there will be no rollover allowance). Updates should be in the form of a word file for any text to be added or a PDF for any downloadable material. Photographs etc sent via email or disc depending on size and should be in RGB. If there are too many updates or content we will discuss this with you in more detail and an additional charge may apply.

For websites with e-commerce shop - updates will be done on a weekly basis. It is responsibility to send updates via email once a week every week on a day that suits you. There will be no rollover allowance. Updates should be in the form of a word file for any text to be added or a PDF for any downloadable material. Photographs etc sent via email or disc depending on size and should be in RGB. There is a limit of new products added for you per week (every website will be different we will confirm with individuals). If you decide not to add products one week this does not mean we will add double the following week (there will be no rollover allowance). If there are too many updates, content or extra products we will discuss this with you in more detail and an additional charge may apply.

 

Directory Submissions and Link Partners

CRE8 Website Design can add your business details to reputable online directories and pass you all the details and passwords to allow you access to change or update any details you require. It is advisable that you do not personally add your details to online directories as some of these can do your website more harm than good.

You will from time to time have companies approach you asking for you to exchange links from your website to there’s. Some will help your site but once again some will not. If you get such requests please forward in a separate email from your business with the header “link partner” to CRE8 Website Design and we will gladly check them out for you and report back. We will then gladly add them a link on the website if they will help your site and your business (providing you have or want a links page).

 

 

Hosting

CRE8 Website Design host many websites on what is called a “shared hosting platform”. This means that the server that a website resides on will also be home to hundreds of other websites. This is totally normal and done by other web design companies. CRE8 Website Design sites are hosted on reliable web servers, however there may be times where the server can get busy and occasionally drop out at times.

CRE8 Website Design will use reasonable efforts to make the Service available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week but from time to time faults may occur which affect this level of Service availability. CRE8Website Design may temporarily suspend the Service because of an emergency or for operational reasons, maintenance or improvements, but before doing so will give you as much notice as is reasonably practicable. CRE8 Website Design will restore the Service as soon as reasonably practicable after temporary suspension. There will be no compensation for this if it should happen, as it is the same for all web companies. No one can guarantee 100% online status.

CRE8 Website Design may, from time to time, vary the technical specification of the Service or alter any part of the Service. CRE8 Website Design will give you as much notice as we reasonably can of any such variations that affect your web service

 

Termination of Contract

Either party – you or CRE8 Website Design, may terminate this contract by providing 30 days written notice. Either party – yourself or CRE8 Website Design may terminate this Contract or the Service provided immediately by written notice to the other if:

• You fail to pay any charges to CRE8 Website Design when due.

• You fail to pay its debts to CRE8 Website Design when they fall due, or is declared insolvent, or bankrupt, or convenes a meeting of or makes or proposes to make any arrangement or composition with its creditors; or a liquidator, receiver, administrator, administrative receiver, manager, trustee, trustee in bankruptcy or similar officer is appointed over any of its assets

• You must pay the Charges to CRE8 Website Design for the Service up to the expiry of any termination notice. Notice given by you does not avoid any other liability for the Service already provided. Termination or expiry of this Contract shall be without prejudice to the accrued rights and obligations of the parties.

Once the contract is terminated the website concerned will be deleted from the server without notice. You will have no claim to the website or it’s domain names unless the domain name/s were originally registered in your name.

 

Privacy

While you will be asked to provide certain information about yourself in connection with licensing reproduction rights and payment, CRE8 Website Design will only use this information in administration of our website, to resolve any disputes, and for the purposes of protecting our intellectual property or facilitating the protection of the intellectual property of our licensors or any content providers. By signing the proposal/contract you agree that CRE8 Website Design and CRE8 Photography may also send you by email or otherwise information about new products, services or other promotions from CRE8 Website Design. If you do not wish to receive this information, please contact CRE8 Website Design in writing by email at alex@cre8websitedesign.co.uk or post. Your details will not be passed onto any third party.

 

Responsibilities

Although CRE8 Website Design take every possible measure to make sure the information you supply us is correct and a spell check has been done it is your responsibility to ensure that all information you send us and is on the website concerned is correct in every way possible. Please contact CRE8 Website Design via email for any corrections to be initiated. Please note all photographs or images are your responsibility and must be RGB.

 

Contacting Us

All enquiries, updates and website matter must be sent to CRE8 Website Design via email to alex@cre8websitedesign.co.uk and CRE8 Website Design will send you a confirmation of receipt via return email. All large files and photographs CRE8 Website Design advise you post directly to CRE8 Website Design (address will be provided upon request). Please note all photographs or images are your responsibility and must be RGB.

 

Change of Details

Change of details i.e. address, bank account etc by both yourself and cr8 Website Design where applicable must be in writing either by post or email. If you do not inform CRE8 Website Design of bank account change and CRE8 Website Design cannot collect the monthly ΔΔ Website Maintenance and Hosting fee CRE8 Website Design will phone you in the first instance to discuss and then follow up with a letter of action. CRE8 Website Design will of course do our very best to resolve these issues but you must acknowledge us.

You will have one month to produce the new bank details or CRE8 Website Design will terminate your contract and delete the website in question from the server. Your one months Website Maintenance and Hosting in advance that you paid with your deposit when you signed the Website Proposal and Contract will be used to cover this month. Once this issue has been resolved CRE8 Website Design will bill you for another £49.99 to cover should this happen again in the future.

CRE8 Website Design will not be held responsible for the removal of the site concerned due to late or cancelled payments. CRE8 Website Design has every right to do so without notice. If this happens and you wish to go back online then cr8 Website Design will have to charge you a fee to rebuild your website. This is usually the same price for a new build.

 

Please Note

Please Note: It is your responsibility to make sure payments and details are kept up to date. The Monthly Maintenance and Hosting fee has to be paid for the life of the website. This will only be cancelled if the website in question is cancelled and taken off line by you or CRE8 Website Design.
